30 Rock, Mad Men and Breaking Bad (and also Rescue Me--no nominations?) are far superior to almost everything else on television. It would appear that viewers with brains count, too. I am sooooooooooooo tired of American Idol's mindless, inane, vapid, schlock. I guess Idol is what all the people watch once they get home from their jobs at Wal-Mart.

  • I like 30 Rock and Love The Office BUT My Name is Earl is way funnier then both of them shows.NBC will regret getting rid of Earl as soon as they put Office or 30 Rock in that spot and realize dumb ass Survivor was the reason for the ratings being low.

30 Rock is by far the best written comedy ever because it moves so fast and packs so many more hysterical moments in one episode!! Those who don't love it , either don't enjoy that type of humor, or are too slow to appreciate what they just witnessed.

Well I mean it's not like these awards really mean anything anyway. Like, look at the variety of opinions in the replies to the article. I absolutely looove Tina Fey and I think 30 Rock is way funnier than The Office (I still like the Office).. But I'm understanding when someone has the complete opposite opinion. Tastes and preferences will always differ. I don't think it's worth arguing over.

Ludicrous that Jensen Ackles has not been nominated despite his stellar work on Supernatural. Does Hugh Laurie really need another doorstop? As usual, same old same old. Yawn.

If you haven't completely blocked out last year's debacle of an Emmy presentation (during which five reality hosts took turns doling out hokey lines), and you caught any of this year's show hosted by the charming Neil Patrick Harris, then you know: What a difference a year makes. more »
