  I agree that Kyra Sedgwick is by far the best actress on TV, and that The Closer is by far the finest police show. Not only is her character so complex, the supporting cast is the finest on TV. Every actor on the show, and the show itself, should be winning awards every year!

  Kyra Sedgrwick is the best actress on TV. Most of thing on the main station are awful. She is interest, funny. The show makes you laugh & cry. It is a great show. It is just to short. Wish it was longer. She should win.

  She is so riveting. She is utterly believable as a genius of a cop - yet a truly complex human as well. Her work has many layers. She deserves to win - but L&O is seen by about a zillion mre people that the Closer. Too bad.

  kyra sedgwick is so convincing as brenda lee johnson of the lapd . there is no one the producers and director could have got for this roll. kyra makes you laugh, cry and sometime tape her mouth close but she is always intresting to watch. i wish the closer taped more episodes during the year.
