Liz Lemon is the female head writer of a nighttime live sketch/variety/comedy program called "TGS With Tracy Jordan." She struggles with keeping Tracy Jordan, the show's unpredictable star, and Jack Donaghy, the nosy network executive, in check, while dealing with the rest of the staff's antics and attempting to salvage her own personal life. For every semi-successful, geeky chick out there who eats through her pain and considers her job her real life, you have a modern hero in Liz Lemon. And for every corporate-talk-loving, conservative dude out there with his eye on the big prize, you have a new role model in boss man Jack Donaghy. Not afraid to mix stupid with clever in all the best places, "30 Rock" is a comedy that makes us laugh out loud, then rewind and laugh out loud again, then recount the LOL moments with our best friends and laugh out loud again. Thank you, TV, for the gift of Tina Fey.

    Personally, I find 30 Rock an extremely hilarious program, and one of the most original shows on tv. Other shows, such as Family Guy, only hit their laughs once in a while. 30 Rock keeps the comedy coming by spoofing mainstream tv in flawless fashion.
